The brand FLECHET was created in 1859, and is now the only "historical" hat brand in France.
Created in Chazelles-sur-Lyon, close from Saint-Etienne, the company was created by Gabriel Fléchet in 1859, developed by his son Benoît, then by Max Fléchet who started in 1927, followed by his sons. FLECHET plant was build in 1904 and employed up to 700 workers, exporting worldwide. Specialised since the beginning by the production of high quality rabbit felts, unfortunately it stopped activity in 1976. In 1983 Saint-Jacques became the designer and distributor of the brand, developing a much more complete headwear range. Since 1997, Saint-Jacques owned the brand.

Virtual visit.
We are conscious to be the heirs of a long tradition, even if for economic reasons we cannot produce anymore in France.
We tried to be as close as possible, selecting rigorously our suppliers worldwide, even if it is not possible to produce anymore the high quality produced in Chazelles, due to the technical skills of the workers there and the quality of rabbit hairs proposed today.
FLECHET brand is registered worldwide. In France, it is distributed into the Parisian big stores (and their subsidiaries), in the specialised hat shops, prêt-à-porter and leather shops.
For those who would know nothing about hat, in France the most well known brands are Borsalino, Stetson, and FLECHET. The other brands work on niches markets. Our collections are much more complete, using all possible raw materials available for headwear and always looking for new ones.
FLECHET prepares the future of headwear with enthusiasm !
